What's better than a classic Caesar salad?

A chicken Caesar wrap !

Here’s a simple way to put one together, with some fun variations to try. If you’re a Caesar salad lover like me, then you’ll love Caesar salad wraps. They’re perfect for a quick lunch to grab and go or eat at your desk. Plus, they’re super easy to make .

After all, it's just a Caesar salad wrapped in a soft flour tortilla . For this recipe , I added cooked chicken to make it a more substantial meal.

Tips for Making a Homemade Chicken Caesar Wrap

As with most simple recipes , the quality of the ingredients is important. I highly recommend making your own Caesar dressing and croutons , and using freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Toss the salad in a large bowl to make sure everything is well coated with dressing before wrapping.
Use large tortillas – they are easier to roll. Mine were about 10 inches wide.
Do not overfill the tortilla. This will make it difficult to roll.

Do you like a salad? Wrap it up!

The general idea is this: take any salad you like and wrap it in a tortilla. This opens up a world of quick, easy, and delicious wraps .

Here are some salads you might try wrapping:

Kale Caesar Wrap :

A seasonal twist on the classic Caesar, with an anchovy-free dressing. Make sure the croutons are bite-sized. A layer of plain hummus or a hard-boiled egg would be a great idea.

Chicken and Avocado Wrap:

A tangy buttermilk vinaigrette , shredded chicken, and creamy avocado are perfect candidates for wrapping in a white or wheat flour tortilla. Break the garlic toast into bite-sized pieces with your hands before tossing the salad.

Green Goddess Wrap:

Green Goddess Dressing is an herby, creamy vinaigrette that could be tossed over crisp lettuces , cucumbers , leftover roasted vegetables , and a cooked grain, like chewy farro .

Chicken and Tahini Wrap:

This super easy, sesame -studded salad with chicken and radish is great if you're craving tahini .

How to Store Chicken Caesar Wraps

Wraps, like most sandwiches , are best when fresh, but if you want to make them ahead of time, you can assemble them and refrigerate them for up to two days, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap .

Method in detail

1. Make the salad:

In a large bowl, add the chicken, lettuce, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss until everything is evenly coated with the dressing. Taste and season with salt and black pepper, if needed.

2. Prepare the wraps:

Place a tortilla flat on a cutting board or clean work surface. Add a quarter of the salad to the center of the tortilla. Fold the left and right edges toward the center, then fold the side closest to you over and roll tightly.

Secure it with a toothpick, if desired. You can also place the wrap seam side down to prevent it from unrolling. Prepare the other 3 wraps in the same way.

3. Serve:

Cut wraps in half or serve whole. Chicken Caesar wraps can be wrapped in plastic wrap, parchment paper, or aluminum foil and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
